The Atlântico Negro podcast is an initiative of young black intellectuals. In this #001 episode we will talk about why we created a Black History and Culture podcast, and what we aspire to for the project. Next, we pose some questions: what does it mean to be a black intellectual in Brazil? Why have we naturalized, for a long time, the hegemonic figure of the white man as the bearer of supposed knowledge and public speaking? Are there different forms of knowledge and knowledge?
