In this episode, historian Claudielle Pavão, a doctoral student in History at UFRRJ – Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, presents her research “Out of compass: stereotypes about dancers in the carioca press of the 1980s”. This project is the result of a partnership between the Network of Black Historians and Black Historians with Cultne TV and Portal Geledés In each episode we present excellent solutions for the most diverse black themes in Brazil and in the world. Strengthening the process of democracy to overcome racism in Brazil and the dissemination of knowledge through historical literacy practices. The project aims to contribute to the implementation of Law 10639/the mandatory one thousand and three, which is the mandatory teaching of African and Afro-Brazilian history and culture.
