It is true that the dream of becoming a mother can come true at different stages of life for many women. However, after 40, things can get a little complicated. Not necessarily because of ourselves or what we want, but because of the countless myths - as well as truths - that surround the "older" woman who dares to get pregnant. But the story was different with the intercultural psychologist and writer from Piauí Verônica Botelho, author of the book "Verão". Already a mother of two daughters and living in different countries in Europe, she became pregnant for the third time at the age of 43 and, shortly afterwards, began writing a fiction book while breastfeeding, releasing it at the age of 45. In this episode of "Um Caso à Parte", she shares with Noemia Colonna what this passionate, and often stressful, involvement with writing and late motherhood was like, and shows how and why the mature phase may not be an obstacle for dreams of a bold woman who is in control of her destiny.
