If you were a teenager in the early 2000s, you probably didn't go unscathed by low-waisted pants, thinning eyebrows, much less Tigrão's Bonde. This was certainly the point in history when Funk Carioca once and for all conquered its space as a legitimately Brazilian musical genre. But he came a long way to reach the hit charts on all radio stations in the country.
