Black Body: M8, film by Jeferson De, narrates the struggle of mothers against violence
For 30 years a group of mothers of 11 young people has been looking for the bodies of their children - the Mothers of Acari. Women who represent a large number of people who fight for an end to violence against their bodies and the bodies of their own. It is in this light that “M8 - when death helps life”, a movie released this month on netflix, presents itself. In this episode we talk to the film's director, Jeferson De, about the work, its trajectory and also remember the struggle of these mothers who, until today, 30 years later, have not been able to find the bodies of their children, and without anyone having been guilty of the crime.
