Monteiro: The Trajectory Behind the Lil Nas X Phenomenon
In this episode of If memory serves me right, we tell you who Lil Nas X is, the guy who was born in the internet age and right here guaranteed an unquestionable success. He has gained prominence for his talent, some records, many awards, some controversies, a keen nose for hit hits and because he has talked about freedom in love like no one else. We invited journalist Douglas Françoza, from Popline music portal, to understand why this guy is so special. We talk about his debut album-Montero-, released last month, which bears his baptismal name and narrates the discovery of his sexuality, as a young black, gay man from the outskirts of Atlanta, in the United States.
